The word ‘nature’ is a separation.
A state of them and us.
A human translation, still clinging to an 18th century idea of the idyll;
bucolic
picturesque
pacified
bordered
For other species the environment has always been a place of constant struggle for survival. Of overwhelming sensations. Our species might begin to understand that now as we realise we are not in control.
It won’t be a yoga session.
We are so insignificant that some other species don’t even perceive us as anything more than vague shapes. A slight shift in their temporal landscape.
Yet, we still want nature to perform for us.
