During a residency in Prague in 2007 I arranged to have access out of hours to the Josef Sudek gallery. Sudek’s photography had been an interest for many years and I wanted to record the sound of the gallery as part of the audible silence series of works.
This piece, named after the photographic series by Sudek, uses contact microphones attached to the main gallery windows. The work was originally shown at Skolska gallery, Prague, 2007
